What if I don't like the results?

Do I require regular maintenance or many treatments?

Does SMP help me grow my hair back?

Sadly, SMP is not the treatment to promote hair growth. All it does is replicate hair follicles on your scalp to give the appearance of a shaved head. If you’re looking for solutions to restore your hair length, a head tattoo is not ideal for you.

Recovery

Are there any side effects or risks?

There are minimal to zero side effects of scalp micropigmentation. Some of our clients have experienced redness, light swelling, or mild irritation immediately after the treatment. However, these symptoms go away in a day or two. You can contact us if you have any further questions or concerns after the sessions.

Can I wash my head after the tattoo is done?

We usually advise customers to wait 3-5 days before washing their scalp to allow the pigment to set. While we understand this might be inconvenient for many, this is essential for the longevity of the results.

Should I take time off work?

Not really. The great majority of our clients can resume their normal activities within 24 hours. However, if your scalp is sensitive, you might want to take a day off in case you experience mild discomfort or redness.

What if the tattoo changes color?

We understand your worries! That’s why we work with first-rate pigments, designed to fade naturally rather than turn into an unnatural color. And once you notice the hues dimming down, you can schedule an appointment for a touch-up.

What recommendations can you give me so the results last longer?

Avoid excessive direct sunlight– use sunscreen or a hat.
Moisturize your scalp regularly.
Use mild, fragrance-free shampoos.
Schedule touch-ups every few years to refresh the look.

Can I go to the pool after my hair loss treatment is done?

We suggest waiting at least 10 days to resume activities in swimming pools, saunas, and steam rooms. Chlorine and chemicals in the water interfere with the healing process.
